AIM. The aim of the study was to determine the ocular health status of students in Special Education Schools in Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria with a view to promoting good eye health among the students of these schools. Materials and Method The study was a cross-sectional survey of the students of the two Special Education Schools in Akwa Ibom State. The WHO/PBL Eye examination record for children with blindness and low vision was used. Findings were recorded accordingly.
