This study had demonstrated that a computer-administered questionnaire is equivalent to the same questionnaire administered using paper and pencil. It has also shown that a computer-administered questionnaire is reliable and efficient, and thus add value to the clinician. To add to literature, the study computed and compared values of reliability and validity, clinical sensitivity and specificity of computer-administered questionnaire with a paper questionnaire. Computer-administered questionnaires can be incorporated into routine clinical practice. Mental health professional working in mental health institution or conducting community based surveys, should consider a computer-assisted approach to assessment.
